The Examination Council of Zambia ECZ working with the Zambia police service has apprehend 20 people in Lusaka, North Western and eastern provinces for suspected forgery and impersonation during the ongoing general certificate of education GCE and grade 9 external examinations which started on 31st August 2020.

This follows the intensive examination monitoring exercise which is currently being undertaken by ECZ and other stakeholders countrywide.

ECZ Corporate Affairs officer Nicolas Nkhuwa says of those apprehended are 2 teachers, a fifth-year student at a known university in Lusaka and some candidates who were found writing examinations on behalf of other candidates using forged national registration cards NRCs.

He said that investigations are ongoing and all suspects remain in police custody

And Mr. Nkhuwa has warned all perpetrators of examination malpractices including those with intentions to write examinations on behalf of their friends or relatives to desist from such acts.

He said that the council is working tirelessly with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to ensure that all those found wanting are brought to book in orders to protect the integrity of the education system in Zambia and examinations conducted by the council.

So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
