The Anti- Voter Apathy AVAP has called on political parties across the country to hold peaceful conventions and campaigns ahead of the 2021 general elections.

AVAP Executive Director Richwell Mulwani says violence should not be entertained by political parties during the said activities, a vice he said leads to voter apathy during elections.

Speaking in an interview with Christian voice news in Lusaka today, Mr. Mulwani encouraged political parties to be peaceful and transparent for them to win the trust of voters.

He said that once political parties exhibit peaceful campaigns, Zambia will record a huge voter turnout in the 2021 general elections.
