ZESCO Limited has resolved to revert to the daily load shedding schedule of up to 12 hours on a rotational basis for the Copperbelt province.

Zesco Limited Public Relations Manager Hazel Zulu says the decision has been necessitated by the continued limitation of power generation capacity as a result of low water levels in the national water reservoirs, especially Kariba dam.

Mrs. Zulu has told Christian Voice news that the water levels at the dam are still low, resulting in reduced power generation across the country.

She has therefore urged consumers to consistently use power prudently by employing energy efficient initiatives such as using alternative sources of lighting.

For, Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.
