Patriotic Front Member of Parliament for Mandevu Constituency Jean Kapata has appealed to the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit DMMU to distribute face masks in schools following the reopening of non-examination classes.

Ms. Kapata who is also Minister of Lands and Natural Resources has further appealed to DMMU to prioritize the quick distribution of face masks to Learners that are vulnerable.

Speaking when Hungry Lion and Butterfly Entertainment donated covid19 preventive materials to SOS village Lusaka Hermann Gemeiner school today, Ms. Kapata underscored the importance of the availability of face masks in schools to prevent the spread of covid19 among learners.

She has since thanked Butterfly Entertainment and Hungry Lion for their support in the fight against the deadly pandemic
