Drizzles Experienced Sign Of Climate Change – Metrological Department

The Metrological Department says the drizzles and heavy rains that have been experienced in some parts of the country do not signal the onset of the rainy season.

Assistant Director for Forecasting and Research, Emmanuel Sikana said rains being experience in some parts of the country is an indicator of climate change.

Mr. Sikana said that some weather patterns being experienced in Lusaka and other parts of the country is typical for the month of September not October necessitated by climate change.
