Opposition Golden Party Zambia has urged government to urgently release constitutional and institutional reforms roadmap, saying the cancellation of the Kabwata by-election a clear indication that the current republican constitution and subsidiary legislation needs urgent refining.

Party President Jackson Silavwe says silence from the Government in releasing the roadmap for constitutional and institutional reforms has become too loud to be avoided.

Mr. Silavwe has told Christian Voice News in Lusaka today that it is imperative that this process starts in good time so that it is not rushed as it was with the bill 10.

He said Government must release a roadmap that will generate broad based consensus amongst citizens and stakeholders alike.

The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
