Minister of Energy Mathew Nkuwa says Zambia will have no electricity load shedding beyond March 2021 owing to the additional 750 megawatts from Kafue Lower Hydroelectricity station that will be completed by that time.

Mr. Nkuwa says the first batch of 150 Megawatts is expected to be added to the already existing power by end of October and that the second 150 megawatts will be added by end of December, further reducing the loadshading hours.

He also said the final 450 megawatts will be available for Consumption around March 2021 and that this will end loadshading in Zambia.

Mr. Nkuwa said government will continue to invest in electricity generation to sustain the economy.

However, as it is written: What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived — the things God has prepared for those who love him.
