The Media Network on Child Rights and Development has called for a 2-week postponement in the reopening of schools in view of the new strain of the coivd19.

Organization Coordinator Henry Kabwe says there is need to study the characteristics of the new covid19 strain that seemingly has a high infection rate.

Speaking in an interview with Christian voice news in Lusaka today, Mr. Kabwe said that the two-week extension period will also enable government put up necessary safety measures in schools.
