The National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia NUPPEZ says the 2020 Grade 12 Examination results indicate that more has to be done in mathematics and science.

NUPPEZ General Secretary Nelson Mwale says though the 2020 results indicate a slight improvement from 2019, pupils have continued to record low pass marks in the two subjects.

Speaking in an interview with Christian Voice News in Lusaka today, Mr. Mwale has therefore reminded government to prioritize teacher recruitment in the two subjects.

He said that adequate Human resource in the subjects will ensure maximum teaching methodologies that will benefit the pupils during exams.
