Home Affairs Minister Steven Kampyongo has directed the Zambia Police Service to do everything possible to ensure no Zambian is displaced or killed before, during and after this year’s general elections.

Mr. Kampyongo says public expectations are high and that the police must offer professional services without looking at political affiliations of the perpetrators of violence.

Speaking when he graced the 2021 Zambia Police Service Commanders’ Conference in Lusaka today, Mr. Kampyongo emphasized the need for the police to do the right things, saying the state will support the officers that will be conduct themselves professionally.

And Mr. Kampyongo advised the Police service to train the officers in the Information Communication Technology for them to be able to use the city security instalments, further stating that the security systems will watch over the police conduct as well.

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
