Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya says President Edgar Lungu’s State Visit to India from August 20th to 22nd, 2019, has speedily started producing dividends.
Dr. Chilufya says India has responded expeditiously to the need of medical lecturers and specialists mainly at Levy Mwanawasa Medical University.
He says this is in line with President Lungu’s agenda for universal health coverage through human capital development.
Dr. Chilufya says Zambia will always be ready to work with India as it is advanced in medical equipment, technology and pharmaceutical industry.
The Health Minister was speaking on arrival in India when he was received by Zambia’s High Commissioner to India JUDITH KAPIJIMPANGA.
