President Hakainde Hichilema says there is need to introduce school curriculum systems that will enable children pursue their career of choice in the early stages of their education.

President Hichilema says the curriculum should change earliest to allow young learners choose their careers and only subject them to learning materials of their chosen careers.

Speaking when he officially opened the Africa innovation ministerial summit in Chongwe today, President Hichilema also called for the need to introduce entrepreneurship and financial literacy in the early stages of education.

He said that this will enable the young people be practical and ready for demanding societal needs.

And President Hichilema has also called for meaning partnerships between government and the private sector in advancing technology in schools.
