President Edgar Lungu pledged to put up measures that will mitigate the effects that farmers are likely to face due a delay in the activation of the E-voucher cards and late distribution of farming inputs.
Mr Lungu said he has taken note of the problems regarding the farmer input distribution system especially the electronic-voucher program and the late distribution of the inputs.
Assistant to the President for Press and Public relations Amos Chanda revealed that the President made the pledge when he finished a two-day tour of the Eastern Province where he got first-hand information on the challenges affecting the people.
