President Edgar Lungu has sworn in newly appointed Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental protection Raphael Nakachinda and he has urged him to focus on reviewing policies to widen access to water and also to reach the target of universal access by 2030.

The President has also cautioned Mr. Nakachinda against indulging in actions that might bring government into disrepute, stating that his role is policy formulation in the ministry.

Speaking during the swearing in Ceremony at state house in Lusaka today, President Lungu told Mr. Nakachinda not to usurp the roles of technocrats, saying this will entangle him as well as but the rest of government.

He urged Mr. Nakachinda to come up with policies that will help alleviate the suffering of Zambians.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
