The Media Network on Child Rights and Development has called on government to consider the re-opening of non-examination classes.

Organization Executive Director Henry Kabwe says the continued closure of schools is detrimental to children adding that they have stayed home for a very long time.

Speaking in an interview with Christian voice news in Lusaka today, Mr. Kabwe said that government should consider the re-opening of all schools under the strict Covid19 health guidelines recommended by the ministry of health.

Mr. Kabwe said that if schools do not re-open in real time, pupils will continue to be exposed to non- constructive vices that could have a bearing on their features.

He further said that there is need for the education sector to be innovative saying that the covid19 pandemic is a here to stay.

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
