Nkana have been hit by suspension and health setbacks ahead of their 2014 CAF Confederation Cup Group B tie against Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
The Zambian side visits Etoile on June 7 away in Sousse on match-day three of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Nkana will be without defenders Noel Phiri and Billy Mwanza including attacking midfielder Shadreck Musonda.
“Everyone is OK except for Noel Phiri who is suspended, Billy Mwanza too is suspended while Shadreck Musonda has Malaria,” Nkana coach Zeddy Saileti said.
However, Saileti has been boosted by the return of two key players to mitigate his trio’s absence.
Defender Christopher Munthali is back after serving his two-match suspension.
Saileti too is relieved to note that he has cover for Musonda following the recent return to action of winger Bruce Musakanya.
Musakanya has battled with fitness and injury since joining Nkana in January from Red Arrows.
He made an impressive return to action last Saturday in his first competitive start for Nkana when he scored a brace in the sides 5-1 home win over Green Buffaloes.
