Minister of Commerce Trade and Industry Chipoka Mulenga says all is set ahead of hosting the 56th Zambia International Trade Fair, starting on the 29th of June to the 5th of July 2022.

Mr. Mulenga says 92 foreign companies from 13 countries and 600 local exhibitors had confirmed participation to the Trade Fair  as at 8th June, 2022, bringing the total confirmed participation is at 692.

Speaking at a Press Briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Mulenga said the figures are likely to increase as the Trade Fair opens its gates on 29th June, 2022.

He said the package for this year’s event goes beyond exhibitions and that it has given prominence to the role of both the public and private sector in ensuring value addition for sustainable development.

This year’s Zambia International Trade Fair will be held under the theme: ‘‘Promoting Value Addition for Sustainable Growth”.
