The Zambia Under 23 Soccer team has arrived in Cairo Egypt ahead of the U23 Africa cup of Nations tournament.
Zambia U23 Coach Beston Chambeshi says arriving early for the tournament will be important in gaining match fitness.
Chambeshi has told Christian voice news that he is hopeful that player that play their football in Europe will join the team soon.
Zambia has been drawn in group B alongside Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and South Africa.
The Tournament will run from 8 to 22 November 2019 and the top three teams will qualify for the 2020 summer Olympics men football tournament in Tokyo, Japan.
