Young people urged to desist from waiting for jobs

A Zambian Parliamentarian has implored young people in the country to desist from waiting to be employed, but participate in activities that better their livelihood.

Patriotic Front Mandevu Member of Parliament Jean Kapata says youths should take opportunities availed to them by different stakeholders, to develop their skills and earn a living.

Speaking in an interview with Christian Voice News in Lusaka, Ms. Kapata further called on young people to form cooperatives for easy access to tools to help them acquire sufficient knowledge.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
