Zambia national football team coach Patrice Beaumelle has named a provisional squad of thirty players to start preparations for the international friendly match against Japan on June 6.
Beaumelle has named three youngsters from the U-20 squad that eliminated Mozambique in the second round of the 2015 African Youth Championship qualifiers. The players are midfielder Lubambo Musonda, striker Patrick Ngoma and goalkeeper Mangani Banda.
Also named on the list are Isaac Chansa, Mukuka Mulenga and James Chamanga.
Beaumelle will name his final squad of 23 before departure to the United States.
The friendly match will be played in Tampa, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium.
Zambia will use the friendly match to prepare for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers while Japan is preparing for their World Cup participation in Brazil, where they been placed in group C with Colombia, Greece and Ivory Coast.
