The Medical Association of Zambia has revealed that the shortage of Medicine in some health facilities across the country is attributed to the debt Zambia has to its suppliers.

Association President Chrispin Moyo says some suppliers are nolonger willing to supply Zambia with essential drugs due to the debt which it has accumulated since 2018.

Speaking when he featured on Hot Fms Radio Program Hot Seat in Lusaka today, Dr. Moyo said that the only way to normalize the drug situation in health facilities is by dismantling debt owed to the medicine suppliers.

He has however expressed confidence with the New dawn’s agenda of normalizing this situation to benefit the Zambians.
